幼虫足3对，2对在体前部，1对近体后端。幼虫仍生活在原隧道中，或另凿隧道，经3～4天蜕皮为前若虫。若虫似成虫，有足4对，前若虫生殖器尚未显现，约经2天后蜕皮成后若虫。雌性后若虫产卵孔尚未发育*，但道孔已形成，可行交配。后若虫再经3～4天蜕皮而为成虫。完成一代生活史需时8～17天。疥螨一般是晚间在皮肤表面交配，是在雄性成虫和雌性后若虫进行交配。雄虫大多在交配后不久即死亡；雌后若虫在交配后20～30分钟内钻入宿主皮内，蜕皮为雌虫，2～3天后即在隧道内产卵。每日可产2～4个卵，一生共可产卵40～50个，雌螨寿命约5～6周。疥螨寄生部位的皮损为小丘疹、小疱及隧道，多为对称分布。疥疮丘疹淡红色、针头大小、可稀疏分布，中间皮肤正常；亦可密集成，但不融合。隧道的盲端常有虫体隐藏，呈针尖大小的灰白小点。剧烈瘙痒是疥疮zui突出的症状，引起发痒的原因是雌螨挖掘隧道时的机械性激及生活中产生的排泄物、分泌物的作用，引起的过敏反应所致。白天瘙痒较轻，夜晚加剧，睡后更甚。由于剧痒、搔抓，可引起继发性感染，发生脓疮、毛炎或疖肿。

Acne papules pale red, needle size, sparsely distributed, normal skin in the middle; can also be closely integrated but not fused. The blind side of the tunnel is often hidden by the body, showing the tip of the gray small size. Severe itching is the most prominent symptom of acne. The cause of itching is due to the mechanical stimulation of excavation by females and the excretion and secretions produced in life, resulting in an allergic reaction. Itching is light during the day, and it worsens at night, even after sleeping. Due to itchiness and scratching, secondary infections may occur, resulting in abscesses, hirsitis or bloated swelling.
