流行特征 该病流行呈性分布，但多为隐性感染或原虫携带者。我国各地近年调查，其感染率在.％—.％不等，农村感染率高于城镇，成人高于儿童。动物饲养者、屠宰工人、类加工厂和剥制动物毛皮的工人、兽医等人群弓形虫感染率较高。病理生理弓形虫主要经消化道侵入人体。首先子孢子或滋养体侵入肠粘膜细胞并在其中繁殖，引起肠粘膜细胞破裂，滋养体流或淋巴播散，造成虫血症，进一步侵犯各种组织，在组织细胞内迅速分裂增殖引起宿主细胞破坏，再侵犯临近细胞，如此反复，引起局部组织细胞坏死，形成坏死病灶和以单核细胞侵润为主的急性炎症反应。弓形虫病变可见于人体任何。常见部位有淋巴结、眼、脑、心、肺、肝和肌，其中以淋巴结、眼和脑的病变特征性。 淋巴结 是获得性弓形虫病zui常侵犯的部位。其炎症反应具有特征性，表现为高度的滤泡增生，生发中心的边缘细胞胞浆呈嗜酸性变，组织巨噬细胞不规则聚集。淋巴结中无典型芽肿形成。眼可产生单一或多发性坏死灶。
